We are Stephan and Roxanne Orlitzky

owners of Woodstone Manor. Our boutique Hotel, Restaurant & Patio is on Galiano Island in beautiful British Columbia. We like to think of the Woodstone as your "home away from home" with comfortable rooms, restful beds, calming atmosphere, welcoming communal areas, lively outdoor patio and expansive grounds to nature-walk or watch the sunset. We strive to offer guests places to unwind and restore while feeling as comfortable as if it were their own. We are pleased to offer our guests a relaxing Lounge, in-house massage options, and a top-notch cook for exceptional gastronomic experiences in our restaurant and patio. Our unique spot of the world is on a small island in the Salish Sea. Galiano Island has its own funky culture, numerous eclectic eateries, expansive beaches and majestic views. Our small community thrives on tourism and buying local. We, as members of this small island, try to find ways to support local. From the ingredients on our menus to the smiles on our staff's faces, we endeavour to offer you a personal experience from right here on Galiano.

Your intimate escape

The Woodstone can comfortably accommodate 24 guests in our 12 beautiful rooms. We have made every effort to make each room as pleasant and relaxing as possible. Our personal touch is throughout our hotel: Our lavish complimentary continental breakfast is a spread of all of the foods we love. The beds are the most comfortable we could find. Every room is decorated a little differently. Each area of our property has been improved to enhance your experience. We love hosting weddings and events but also thoroughly enjoy days where we're open to the public and can meet guests from all over the world. The Woodstone Restaurant & Patio boasts our amazing chefs who prepare outstanding food. Our dining room seats 43 guests and our large patio 97. Reservations are recommended.

Our Setting

Woodstone Manor is set on 9 forested acres with quiet walking trails and wildlife throughout. Our lovely outdoor stone patio overlooks a pastoral scene of old: Uninterrupted acres of valley and farmland extend before you. You’ll see horses grazing and cavorting in the fields, shy deer passing by, and eagles drifting lazily overhead. It’s the perfect place to unwind, to reconnect, to just “be”. The patio’s fireplace is a focal point of enjoyment. Each evening, after the kitchen closes, guests are welcome to gather round with a guitar in one hand and a glass of wine or a mug of hot chocolate in the other! We are a leisurely 10 minute walk to grocery stores, liquor store, shops and eateries. Another 2 minutes of walking takes you to the Hummingbird Pub.
