2021 Update
We will be reopening for 2021 on March 5th with the hope that all the hard work done by BC residents and Canadians will see a positive turn in the fight against Covid-19. To protect everyone involved, we strongly encourage you to stay home should you feel unwell. With this in mind, we have a last-minute cancellation policy in place with absolutely no penalty fees if you need to cancel due to ill health or if you have had contact with someone diagnosed with Covid-19.
Our guests are our reason for being and we have greatly felt your absence when we decided that being closed for January and February was the right thing to do. We will also be limiting our opening days to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until May.
We would like to acknowledge and thank our past and future guests for their sensitivity when visiting a small community like ours. We appreciate your respectful attitude and know that you come to the island to enjoy its peace and quiet and to be part of its wonderful outdoor environment.
We are continuously monitoring events and following the guidelines outlined by both the Government of Canada and by the BC Centre for Disease Control. Masks are now required in all indoor spaces including in the restaurant when guests and diners are not seated at their table.
Making sure you have the very best experience has always been our goal and remains paramount in these challenging times. To do so, we have had to change a few ways that we do things.
• Our complimentary continental breakfast is no longer served as a buffet. We now prepare individual breakfast plates with a great selection.
• Our dining room seating arrangement has been set to allow 2-metre physical distancing. We leave the doors open allowing for hands-free access. The ow is regulated with separate entrance and exit. Guests are invited to use the dining room to enjoy their breakfast but we will also do in-room service.
• The self-serve coffee and tea is still available to our guests 24/7. There is hand sanitizer at the station and a sign is posted to advise when it has been disinfected.
Our dedicated cleaning staff, always proud of their work, have amplified their efforts to keep all guest rooms and public areas spotlessly clean and sanitized. High use items such as door knobs and railings are sanitized multiple times throughout the day.
Guests are provided with a laundry bag for used towels eliminating the need for staff to go into your room during your stay with us.
We have placed hand sanitizers in all public spaces and have a supply of masks. Guests are encouraged to use the hand sanitizer placed in the entrance way upon arrival.
As we are a small boutique hotel, we have the advantage of always being aware, and responsive, to your needs and concerns. We invite you to call us directly before booking to discuss any concerns you might have and to give us an opportunity to clarify our policies. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding!
